I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Askin! He is extremely professional, knowledgable, and personable. The office space is very clean and welcoming. Dr. Askin walked me through each step of the procedure, answered all of my questions, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit and procedure. Dr Askin is very knowledgeable and thorough. He spends time with you and answers all of your questions. His advice is so helpful for your problem in whatever it may be. He is very friendly and so is the lady(sorry,but I forgot her name) at the front desk. She is also very helpful. The facility is beautiful and very clean. I wanted to take the time to give a huge shout out to the South Jersey Foot and Ankle Institute. I have been and am continuing to recover from a displaced bimalleolar ankle fracture. Dr. Zwiebel and Dr. Askin at the South Jersey Foot and Ankle Institute have been amazing through my initial break, surgery, and recovery. They are compassionate, intelligent, and listen to every concern and question. Dr. Zwiebel and Dr. Askin have gone above and beyond to make sure I have been taken care of through this process from there office to the operating room and now my recovery. I highly recommend them to anyone with foot needs.

I was seen by Dr. Askin for an ingrown toenail requiring partial nail avulsion. He did try to resolve the problem without avulsion first, but it didn't eliminate the pain. He did a good job of handling the injections of the anesthetic and made sure I was completely numb before cutting. Dr. Askin also gave clear instructions on caring for my toe afterwards to prevent infection and drain any pus (make sure you use Epsom Salt as he directs). I had no complications. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return next time I have foot problems. Thank you!
